How did you like BDD’s book?
It was a fun read. I thought the narrative structure was well-done if not a bit gimmicky — “internet diary” is sort of the “found footage” of books — and the first two acts were really good. The third act was kind of clunky, and the ending a little too on-the-nose (i.e. “REMINDER: You’re reading a book!”), but that didn’t take away much from the rest of the effort. I really liked seeing the effects of events on both small and large scales, and the China and Russia parts were great subplots.
Overall, it was pretty good.
