I had to work today.
My branch is located in a business park area, so there were long stretches of nothingness — not that I minded (obvs).
Working holidays are tough, because it’s that much harder to hit your sales numbers. Thankfully I ended up killing it with almost double the production of a normal day. Everything’s just clicking for me this quarter. It’s awesome.
The best part? With the exit of our assistant manager from the branch last week (due to promotion), my boss informed me I’m being groomed as her replacement. It was less than 18 months ago I was an assistant manager with the financial division (before it was shut down), so it’s nice to finally be getting recognized for that part of my skill set I bring to the job.
